Postcards
Small travel scenes that are easy to send, collect or slip into a notebook.
Her collections · All her souvenirs
A map forgotten in a notebook, a colour brought home from a journey, a small object left on her desk… With Caroline, souvenirs never stay still for long.
Her organised little mess
'All her souvenirs' is not a catch-all commercial collection. It is where Caroline lets the things she brings home from her travels live on: notes, images, colours, small details and ideas. Some will simply remain memories. Others may one day become a new Caroline’s World object.
Her personal laboratory
On her desk, a Paris souvenir can sit beside a Bora Bora sketch, an old map, a colour test and an idea scribbled in the margin. That mixture is part of Caroline’s World: it lets the collections evolve without turning every new idea into a compulsory product.
An idea can remain a sketch for months and then reappear in another form. This section therefore becomes the natural link between her travels, her journal, behind the scenes and future surprises in her shop.
Perhaps one day…
No catalogue promises here: simply a few directions Caroline may explore if they find their place in the universe and if producing them makes sense.
Small travel scenes that are easy to send, collect or slip into a notebook.
Logos, silhouettes, destinations or graphic details drawn from her travels and sketches.
An idea already explored, perhaps to revisit one day if the format and production costs make sense.
Seasonal objects, short runs or curiosities that do not necessarily need a collection of their own.
A few pointers
To be continued…
For now, they stay there between two sketches and three journeys. And that is probably the best place to begin.
